Camp Zukeran is the original name for what is now known as Camp Foster, a United States Marine Corps base and also a part of the larger Camp Smedley D. Butler. It serves as the headquarters for MCB Butler in addition to housing the United States Forces Japan Okinawa office. The camp is situated in Ginowan City with some portions in Chatan town and Kitanakagusuku village of Okinawa City which was named after in honor of a Medal of Honor awardee namely William A. Foster.

Camp Foster is also home to several tenant units including the Combat Logistics Regiment 3, Combat Logistics Battalion 4, Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 1, Marine Wing Support Group 17 and Marine Wing Communications Squadron 18. There are housing units in the base as well as school operations including two elementary schools, Zukeran and Killin, and the Kubasaki High School. Other amenities are also present including a food court, movie theater, and recreation centers.
