A Fort Drumucmjmilitaryattorneys_4255 soldier was convicted in recent court-martial proceedings on post of stealing military property.

Spc. Richard G. Rummings was convicted on Dec. 16 of three counts of selling military property and larceny of military property and one count of conspiracy to commit larceny of United States property.

He was sentenced to a reduction in rank to private E-1, three years’ confinement and a bad-conduct discharge from the Army.

Additionally, on Nov. 13, Pvt. Jhon C. Jean-Louis was convicted of larceny of nonmilitary property and acquitted on six larceny and identity-theft charges.

Pvt. Jean-Louis was sentenced to a reduction in rank to private E-1, one year’s confinement and a bad-conduct discharge from the Army.
