Emergency Situations

If you have an emergency need to consult with a military defense lawyer, then please call our on-call cell number at 706-664-1395, 24 x 7. Leave a message if there is no answer and we will quickly return your call. Before calling, please read below.

We consider the following emergencies:

1) You or a loved one is being court martialed;
2) You are in jail or are facing a pre-trial confinement hearing;
3) You face a potential court martial;
4) Criminal investigators are contacting you for a search or to give a statement/interview;
5) Your command or investigators have read you your rights and you need immediate advice.

Please do not call the on-call number 24 x 7 for the following reasons:

1) Discharge/discharge upgrade questions;
2) Administrative board/separation questions;
3) Medical benefit questions;
4) AWOL turn-in questions; and
5) Non-criminal/non-court martial related questions.
